I got a Line! That's right, I'm not dead. I have just been working on the house. I have been ripping up windows and building sills, plastering away textured walls (I hate those things), building up window trim and installing blinds. each window takes around three days. Now that I have a flying line I won't have to deal with the uncertainty of being on reserve. I will have less time at home but it will mean much more money. We have had quite a bit of rain and, believe it or not, things are a bit green around here. I'm sure it will all be dead in a few months but it's nice to look at for now. Blogging is a bit slower these days because 56K sucks. I'll try to do better but don't hold out much hope for now. See Ya.

Long time no Blog! I have been off line for a week or two but we are back up. Unfortunately it is at 56k speeds. I imagine this is how the settlers blogged in the 1800's. It all started when we moved. That was a week and a half ago on Fri. the 23rd. We had made arrangements to have the phone service turned on that day but there was some confusion as to whether we had to be here. We did and weren't so no phone service. We made another appt. to have it turned on and they didn't show up. The third time was the charm so now we are on line. I have been sick for the last week so I haven't really missed the Internet yet. Lorna heard a rumor in town that Quest may have DSL available in this area in 60-90 days so our fingers are crossed. Talk later!
